It’s time to stop rehashing the injustices of the mutiny at Castle Black. It’s time to stop evangelizing about the virtues of Littlefinger or Sansa Stark as legitimate alternatives. It’s time to stop crying over the Red Wedding and bemoaning Daenerys’s commitment to Khal Drogo (despite the Dothraki’s questionable treatment of women).
Let it go. Jon Snow is dead. But his new incarnation carries on to fight a true war with the true enemy. The one beyond the Wall. The one whose destructive power is a mortal threat not just to our specific preferences or our way of life, but to our very existence.
So please stop whining over privileged nuances while the White Walkers hasten their approach.
Focus, people. Winter is coming. And it's time to slay the Night King.
